Accounting Associate

The Accounting Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, managing the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, and ensuring full compliance with government regulations and reporting requirements. This role involves the preparation and analysis of financial statements, monitoring and reconciling budgets, and overseeing accounts payables and receivables. Additionally, this position supports internal financial planning, helps identify cost-saving opportunities, and contributes to the continuous improvement of accounting systems and processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and statements.
- Monitor daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure up-to-date account balances.
- Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and timely filing of tax returns and other statutory reports
- Master demos of our software
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- With at least 1 Experience in general accounting or bookkeeping in Real Estate is preferred
- Experience in preparing and filing tax returns (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, income tax, etc.)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Experience with accounting software
- Knowledge of government tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with BIR processes and other regulatory filings
- Strong communication skills for reporting financial data to non-finance teams
